全美伍胥山公所第十五屆懇親大會

The 15th U.S. National Convention was held on board the Carnival Paradise on a 4 day cruise to Baja California, Mexico. The convention was a complete success. Everyone enjoyed the leisurely pace of the cruise and a chance to meet other brothers and sisters from around the country. The delegates only met for half a day and found enough time to elect Kenny Eng of Chicago as Regional Grand- President and Victor Quinto of Washington, D.C. as Regional Grand-Vice President of the Eastern United States, Tenny Ng of Los Angeles as Regional Grand President and Kwok Keung Ng of Seattle to be Grand-Vice President of the Western United States. The previous Eastern Regional Grand-President, Jack Eng, and Western Regional Grand-President, Choo Koon Ng, were promoted to be Elders of our National Association. Our congratulations.
The convention concluded with a banquet at the Empress Pavilion in Los Angeles. Over 400 guests attended the banquet to help celebrate the successful conclusion of the convention. Among the guests attending were  Assemblyman Mike Eng and VIPs from various family associations.

由羅省伍胥山公所主辦之全美伍胥山公所第十五屆懇親代表大會、已於本年九月在嘉年華大遊輪上完滿結束。由羅省長堤碼頭出發至墨西哥之恩塞納達風景區、為期四天。在船上陽光普照、風和日麗、來自各埠伍姓兄弟姊妹、偕能悠閑地歡聚一堂、共話親情。代表會議、能在半天內完成一切議程、並順利推選芝城伍健源為全美美東總長、美京伍毅文為美東副總長、羅省伍俠山為全美美西總長、西雅圖伍國強為美西副總長。剛卸任之美東總長伍權碩宗長及美西總長伍柱鈞宗長即榮陞為全美伍胥山總公所元老。真可喜可賀！

全體代表及寶眷於大會結束返羅省後、當晚參加在華埠漢宮大酒樓設備之慶功宴、筵開四十餘席、場面氣氛十分高興。參加宴會之貴賓有加州眾議員伍國慶宗長及華埠各僑團首長。
